Yes. The chair is built with a powder-coated aluminium frame and weather-resistant Serge Ferrari Batyline mesh. While fully weather-proof, we recommend storing it during winter to prolong the golden appearance of the teak armrests.

Does the Remuera Directors Chair require cushions?

No. The chair features Batyline mesh, a high-strength, dimensionally stable fabric that provides excellent ergonomic support and comfort. It is designed to be used as-is, offering a sleek look without the need for padding.

How do I maintain the teak armrests?

The A-grade teak armrests will naturally weather to a silver-grey patina over time. If you prefer the original honey-brown colour, we recommend applying a teak protector once a year at the start of the summer season.
