Assembly requirements vary by product, with only some items requiring minimal assembly. We also offer a full-service delivery, including assembly and waste disposal, for an additional cost, available in Auckland only. How long does outdoor furniture delivery take?

While Design Concepts provides local Auckland and nationwide delivery, our time frames depend on your location and the type of furniture you've ordered. For standard orders within metropolitan areas, delivery may take between 1 to 2 weeks and even longer for rural locations. Please communicate any special delivery requirements at the time of ordering. We also recommend checking your access points to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I keep the outdoor furniture outside year-round?

Absolutely. We design our outdoor furniture to withstand year-round outdoor exposure and provide lasting enjoyment. Our rust-free frames ensure structural integrity regardless of weather conditions, while our specially treated materials resist UV damage, fading, mould, and mildew. Many of our products feature quick-dry foam and a free drainage system, which makes them easy to maintain and prevents moisture buildup. To give you added peace of mind, we offer a 5-year warranty on our fabric.

Will the 66cm width fit between the legs of my dining table?

The Belmont is an oversized "armchair" style dining seat. We recommend measuring the internal distance between your table legs. You generally need at least 75cm of space per person to allow these chairs to tuck in and out comfortably.

How do I keep the back cushion from flopping forward?

The Belmont back cushions are designed with a tailored fit and a weighted base to stay upright. They also feature discreet toggles or high-friction backing that secures them to the aluminium frame, ensuring they stay in place during use.

Is the powder-coated finish resistant to "pitting" in coastal areas?

Yes. The Belmont uses a high-grade aluminium frame and a multi-layer powder-coating process. This creates a barrier that is highly resistant to the salt-air corrosion and pitting that can affect lower-quality metal furniture.

Can I wash the Sunbrella cushion covers in a machine?

Yes. The covers can be removed and machine-washed on a cold, delicate cycle. To preserve the water-repellent coating, we recommend air-drying them and avoiding the use of fabric softeners, which can clog the breathable fibres.
