Yes. The ottoman is built with the same reinforced aluminium frame as the chair and is designed to handle the weight of an adult. It serves as a perfect "perch" seat for guests during parties when it isn't being used as a footrest.

Is the backrest angle adjustable for different lounge positions?

The Wanaka is a "fixed-back" lounge chair, meaning the angle is permanently set to a relaxed, ergonomic pitch. It is designed to provide optimal lumbar support for reading or socialising without the need for moving mechanical parts.

Will the cushions blow away on a windy balcony?

The Wanaka cushions are quite substantial and sit deep within the aluminium frame, which helps keep them secure. For very exposed areas, we recommend tucking the ottoman under the chair or bringing the cushions inside during high-wind alerts.

How much floor space is required for the full chair and ottoman set?

For a comfortable lounging experience, we recommend allowing for a footprint of approximately 1.5 m in depth. This gives you enough room for the chair, the ottoman, and a small gap in between for your legs to move freely.
