We also offer a full-service delivery, including assembly and waste disposal, for an additional cost, available in Auckland only. How long does outdoor furniture delivery take?

While Design Concepts provides local Auckland and nationwide delivery, our time frames depend on your location and the type of furniture you've ordered. For standard orders within metropolitan areas, delivery may take between 1 to 2 weeks and even longer for rural locations. Please communicate any special delivery requirements at the time of ordering. We also recommend checking your access points to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I keep the outdoor furniture outside year-round?

Absolutely. We design our outdoor furniture to withstand year-round outdoor exposure and provide lasting enjoyment. Our rust-free frames ensure structural integrity regardless of weather conditions, while our specially treated materials resist UV damage, fading, mould, and mildew. Many of our products feature quick-dry foam and a free drainage system, which makes them easy to maintain and prevents moisture buildup. To give you added peace of mind, we offer a 5-year warranty on our fabric.

How does the circular ring design affect shade coverage?

The circular ring provides a unique, architectural shade footprint. Because the ring can be tilted and rotated 360 degrees, you can angle the "disc" of shade to track the sun perfectly, offering more creative shade control than a static square umbrella.

Is the ring canopy difficult to clean?

The canopy fabric is tensioned over the circular frame, which minimizes folds where dirt can hide. For general cleaning, a simple hose down is usually sufficient. For deeper cleaning, the fabric can be removed from the ring frame for specialized care.

Does the ring catch the wind more than a traditional umbrella?

The aerodynamic circular shape actually allows wind to pass around and through the centre more efficiently than a solid square canopy. However, due to the leverage of the cantilever arm, we recommend closing the Eclipsum when wind speeds exceed 30kph.

Can the height of the ring be adjusted on the pole?

The Eclipsum UX features a height-adjustable slider on the mast. This allows you to raise or lower the entire ring assembly, which is particularly useful for blocking low afternoon sun or creating a more intimate, enclosed feel over a dining setting.
