Yes. Each canopy operates independently with its own Shadowlift gas-piston. Opening only one or two canopies reduces the total wind surface area, which is a useful strategy for maintaining shade during gusty conditions without putting full stress on the mast.

The Unity mast is engineered with heavy-gauge marine-grade aluminium and internal reinforcement. It is specifically designed to manage the combined leverage and torque of up to four 3.0m canopies, provided it is mounted to a structural concrete footing or reinforced deck.

The canopies are designed with a specific pitch to ensure water sheds outward and away from the central mast. Because the fabric is 100% water-resistant, there is no risk of the mast "pooling" water, even when all four umbrellas are deployed during a heavy shower.

Yes. The Unity is a modular system. If you start with a Duo (two canopies), you can purchase additional arms and canopies later to upgrade to a Trio or Quattro. The mast features pre-drilled mounting tracks to allow for easy hardware expansion.
