The Lisbon 600 Planter by Modscene is beautiful and modern. It is perfect for complementing that special place by adding texture and colour. Although the base of this planter looks rounded, it has a flat base for stability.

Made of linear low-density, recyclable polyethylene through a rotational moulding process. This process gives a strong finish and allows us to bake the colour right through the planter, giving a colourfast result.

Does the tapered base make the Lisbon 600 prone to tipping?

While the base is narrower than the top, the Lisbon 600 is designed with a low center of gravity. Once filled with soil and plants, the weight is concentrated at the bottom, making it very stable even for taller plants or in windy locations.

Can I use the Lisbon 600 as a "pot-in-pot" holder?

Yes. The 60cm width allows you to place a smaller standard plastic pot inside the Lisbon. This is a great option if you want to change your seasonal displays frequently without having to completely repot into the large Lisbon container.

Will the planter leave "rust rings" on my concrete patio?

No. Because the planter is made from high-density polyethylene, there is no metal to rust and no porous ceramic to leach minerals. Any marks on your patio would be from soil runoff, which can be prevented by using a matching 600-series saucer.

Is the Lisbon 600 safe for growing edible vegetables?

Yes. The polyethylene used in our planters is BPA-free and food-safe. It does not leach harmful chemicals into the soil, making it an excellent and durable choice for a portable herb or vegetable garden.
