We also offer a full-service delivery, including assembly and waste disposal, for an additional cost, available in Auckland only. How long does outdoor furniture delivery take?

While Design Concepts provides local Auckland and nationwide delivery, our time frames depend on your location and the type of furniture you've ordered. For standard orders within metropolitan areas, delivery may take between 1 to 2 weeks and even longer for rural locations. Please communicate any special delivery requirements at the time of ordering. We also recommend checking your access points to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I keep the outdoor furniture outside year-round?

Absolutely. We design our outdoor furniture to withstand year-round outdoor exposure and provide lasting enjoyment. Our rust-free frames ensure structural integrity regardless of weather conditions, while our specially treated materials resist UV damage, fading, mould, and mildew. Many of our products feature quick-dry foam and a free drainage system, which makes them easy to maintain and prevents moisture buildup. To give you added peace of mind, we offer a 5-year warranty on our fabric.

Will the Batyline mesh stretch or sag over time with heavy use?

No. Batyline is a high-tenacity polyester fibre protected by a PVC coating. It is specifically engineered to have "zero stretch" memory, meaning it maintains its structural tension and ergonomic support even after years of daily use in high-sun environments.

Do the teak armrest accents require a specific type of oil?

If you choose to maintain the honey-gold colour, we recommend using a water-based teak protector rather than traditional oils. Water-based protectors allow the wood to breathe and prevent the black fungal spotting that can sometimes occur with oil in humid coastal climates.

Can the chairs be stacked while the mesh is wet?

While the mesh is synthetic and won't rot, we recommend allowing the chairs to dry before stacking them for long-term storage. This prevents moisture from being trapped between the layers, which can lead to a buildup of environmental dust or water spots on the powder-coated frames.

Is the chair seat height compatible with most outdoor dining tables?

The Herne Bay is designed with a standard 45cm seat height. This ensures it is ergonomically compatible with almost all outdoor dining tables, providing the correct posture for comfortable, long-duration dining.
