We also offer a full-service delivery, including assembly and waste disposal, for an additional cost, available in Auckland only. How long does outdoor furniture delivery take?

While Design Concepts provides local Auckland and nationwide delivery, our time frames depend on your location and the type of furniture you've ordered. For standard orders within metropolitan areas, delivery may take between 1 to 2 weeks and even longer for rural locations. Please communicate any special delivery requirements at the time of ordering. We also recommend checking your access points to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I keep the outdoor furniture outside year-round?

Absolutely. We design our outdoor furniture to withstand year-round outdoor exposure and provide lasting enjoyment. Our rust-free frames ensure structural integrity regardless of weather conditions, while our specially treated materials resist UV damage, fading, mould, and mildew. Many of our products feature quick-dry foam and a free drainage system, which makes them easy to maintain and prevents moisture buildup. How do the modular sections stay connected on a slippery patio?

Every Hamilton section is supplied with heavy-duty "U-clips" that bridge the internal frames. These clips ensure that even when guests sit or move on the sofa, the sections remain locked together as a single, solid unit without sliding apart.

Are the back cushions "fixed" or loose?

The back cushions are loose, which allows for custom comfort and easy cleaning. They are designed with a weighted base and high-friction fabric backing to ensure they stay upright and secure against the frame even in breezy conditions.

Will the 91cm depth fit through a standard sliding door for winter storage?

While the seat is deep for lounging, the 70cm frame height allows the sofa to be turned on its side to fit through most standard NZ and AU ranch-sliders. We recommend measuring your clear opening width to ensure easy access.

Can I add a "corner" piece later to turn this into an L-shape?

Yes. The Hamilton range is completely modular and the frame heights are consistent across all pieces. You can purchase a corner section or an ottoman later and use the provided clips to integrate it into your existing double sofa.
