Assembly requirements vary by product, with only some items requiring minimal assembly. We also offer a full-service delivery, including assembly and waste disposal, for an additional cost, available in Auckland only. How long does outdoor furniture delivery take?

While Design Concepts provides local Auckland and nationwide delivery, our time frames depend on your location and the type of furniture you've ordered. For standard orders within metropolitan areas, delivery may take between 1 to 2 weeks and even longer for rural locations. Please communicate any special delivery requirements at the time of ordering. We also recommend checking your access points to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I keep the outdoor furniture outside year-round?

Absolutely. We design our outdoor furniture to withstand year-round outdoor exposure and provide lasting enjoyment. Can this cleaner restore grey, weathered teak?

Yes. This high-performance cleaner is specifically formulated to penetrate weathered wood, lifting ingrained dirt and removing the silver-grey patina to restore the timber to its original honey-gold colour.

Is the Golden Care Teak Cleaner safe for garden use?

Yes. The formula is water-based and non-toxic. While safe for the environment, we recommend rinsing the area with plenty of fresh water to dilute the runoff and protect nearby delicate plants.

Is scrubbing required to get the best results?

Yes. After applying the cleaner, a scrubbing pad or stiff-bristle brush should be used to work the solution into the grain. This physical agitation is necessary to lift deep-seated mould and environmental grime.

What should I apply after cleaning my teak furniture?

Once the wood is clean and completely dry, we strongly recommend applying a Golden Care Teak Protector. This seals the opened pores of the wood and prevents future staining from food, wine, or moisture.
