The unit is constructed from high-heat resistant steel or stainless steel components (model dependent). In coastal environments, we recommend using a specialized BBQ cover when the unit is cool to prevent salt from sitting on the surface and accelerating oxidation.

Yes. By moving the grill grate further from the hot coals, you can achieve lower temperatures suitable for slower cooking. When paired with a lid, the Q-Boo can be used for indirect roasting and basic smoking techniques.

The Q-Boo features an integrated ash collection tray or a removable fire grate. Once the coals are completely cold, you can easily slide out the tray or use an ash shovel to clear the base, ensuring optimal airflow for your next cook.
