Will the Floata Round get heavy and waterlogged over time?

No. While the Olefin cover feels like traditional fabric, it is a synthetic weave that sheds water rapidly. The internal TPU core is non-absorbent, ensuring the float remains lightweight and easy to lift out of the water even after a full day of use.

Is the Round Floata stable enough for a child to jump onto?

The 140cm diameter provides a very wide, stable base that resists tipping much better than standard narrow floats. While designed for lounging, its broad surface area makes it a safer, more stable platform for active use in a family pool environment.

Does the fabric cover prevent the "sticky plastic" feeling of traditional floats?

Yes. The primary benefit of the Olefin cover is that it stays cool to the touch and feels like soft upholstery. It eliminates the sticky, hot sensation of bare skin on PVC, making it much more comfortable for long periods of sunbathing on the water.

How do I store the Floata to prevent the fabric from smelling?

We recommend standing the Floata on its side after use to allow water to drain from the cover. Because Olefin is naturally antimicrobial and quick-drying, it is highly resistant to odours as long as it is allowed to air dry before being placed in a storage shed.
