How do I protect the lamp from falling over on a high-wind balcony?

The Poldina L features a wide, weighted base for standard stability. For high-wind locations, we recommend placing the base in a sheltered corner or behind furniture. The lamp head can also be easily removed and brought inside if a storm is forecast.

Can the Poldina L be used at full height and "table height"?

Yes. The lamp comes with a modular stem. You can use all sections for a 150cm floor lamp, or remove sections to create a 69cm "mid-height" lamp, making it versatile for both lounge areas and low-level garden accent lighting.

Is the light output bright enough for reading a book at night?

Yes. At its maximum setting, the Poldina L provides enough downward-focused light for reading. The dimming function allows you to then lower the light for a softer ambient glow once you have finished reading.

Does the charging base need to be kept undercover?

Yes. The charging base is for indoor use only and must be kept away from moisture. You only need to bring the lamp head (which contains the battery) inside to place on the base; the pole and stand can remain in your outdoor area.
