Will sunblock and tanning oils permanently stain the white Sunbrella?

Sunbrella fabric is highly resistant to oils. If sunblock marks appear, they can be easily cleaned with mild dish soap and water. For older stains, the white fabric is safe to clean with a diluted bleach solution without damaging the fibres.

Does the white frame show more salt residue than the black version?

Salt residue is actually less visible on the white powder-coated frame than it is on darker colours. However, we still recommend a regular rinse with fresh water to prevent salt crystals from becoming abrasive over time.

Can the lounger be used inside the water on a pool "sun shelf"?

We do not recommend long-term submersion. While the aluminium is rust-proof, constant contact with pool chemicals can eventually degrade the powder-coating. It is designed for use on the poolside deck rather than inside the pool water.

How do the wheels perform on a timber deck with gaps?

The Piha features large-diameter concealed wheels designed to roll smoothly over standard decking gaps. This allows you to reposition the 90cm wide lounger easily without having to lift the full weight of the frame.
