The Manhattan is designed with a specific thermal clearance. While the area immediately adjacent to the flame will be warm, the outer ledge remains at a safe temperature. It is specifically designed as a functional coffee table for resting drinks and plates.

For Natural Gas or LPG versions, the burner is designed with specialized drainage points and protective media. We recommend using the included all-weather cover to prevent water and debris from entering the burner ports, ensuring a reliable ignition.

You must adhere to the vertical clearance requirements specified in the manual (typically 1.5 to 2 metres from the flame). Because bioethanol burns cleanly with no sparks, it is safer for covered areas than wood-fire, provided there is enough height for heat dissipation.

The table is factory-sealed to resist stains and moisture. To maintain the matte finish and protect against acidic drink spills, we recommend re-applying a high-quality concrete sealer once a year, especially if the table is in a fully exposed outdoor area.
