Does the waterfall design create sharp edges at the corners?

No. The Mangawhai series is manufactured with precision-milled corners that are smoothed before the powder-coating process. This ensures the "waterfall" aesthetic remains sleek and architectural while being safe for families and children.

Can the bench be used on a timber deck without causing marks?

Yes. Every Mangawhai bench is fitted with high-density nylon glides on the base. These glides protect your decking from scratches and also prevent the aluminium frame from sitting in standing water, which helps preserve the powder-coated finish.

How much weight can the 220cm bench safely support?

The bench features internal reinforcement and heavy-duty aluminium extrusions. It is designed to comfortably support up to four adults (approximately 350kg) without any structural flexing or stress on the waterfall joints.

Will food or wine spills stain the Matte aluminium finish?

The powder-coating is non-porous and highly resistant to organic stains. If wine or grease is spilled, it can be wiped away with a damp cloth. We recommend a quick rinse with soapy water after meals to prevent any acidic residue from sitting on the finish.
