The Lonsdale Outdoor Floor Rug provides a refined foundation for contemporary indoor and covered outdoor spaces. Tightly handwoven from recycled PET fibres, its durable flatweave construction and subtle colourways suit busy living areas and dining spaces.

Care

Vacuum regularly on gentle to moderate setting, suction only. DO NOT use a turbo brush head. Shake regularly to remove dust and debris. Rotate the rug every 3 months to avoid uneven fading and wear. Although this rug has been designed for outdoor use, some fading may occur if exposed to high UV rays. If a liquid spill occurs, quickly soak up any fluid with a white absorbent cloth or paper towel. To clean, moisten a white or light-coloured absorbent cloth with cool-lukewarm water and dab carefully at the area (do not rub or agitate as this may spread the stain or damage the pile). A spot of mild detergent can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach. Allow to dry completely. In the case of food spills, vacuum away any dried matter to prevent it from entering the pile. Professional cleaning is recommended if any stains remain resistant. Do not dryclean. Heat will cause the fibres to shrink. Keep away from flame or direct heat sources. Avoid pulling loose yarns. Carefully trim to neaten. After rain or excessive moisture, drain fully to allow the fibres to dry. During extended periods of bad weather or when not in use, store the rug in a dry, covered area to prevent mould or mildew. If using indoors, a Rug Master underlay is recommended to help prevent slipping, creeping or stretching.

It is not likely. But if the furniture you ordered does not arrive in good order, or something goes wrong with it that should not have, call us and we will sort it.

Formally: a limited two-year warranty on the furniture we supply, against defects in material and workmanship. We repair or replace at our option, at no cost to you. Sunbrella and Sunproof fabrics carry a minimum five years in New Zealand against fading.

Domestic use, original purchaser, proof of purchase. The natural patina of teak is not a defect. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act apply at all times.

The difference is in the details 100% outdoor

Everything we sell is built to live outside all year. Not moved under cover at the first forecast, not packed away in April.

Fabric is solution-dyed, which means the colour goes right through the fibre rather than sitting on the surface of it. Think a beetroot rather than a radish. Surface-dyed fabric goes chalky in a season. This does not.

Underneath is quick-dry foam. Rained on at four, usable by half past. The cushion drains rather than holding water, so once the surface is dry you can sit on it in normal clothes.

Delivery Nationwide

We deliver everywhere. Every town, every city, every suburb. As far north as Kaitaia and as far south as Invercargill.

Around Auckland we deliver with our own team, so we can guarantee it is handled and placed properly.

Outside Auckland, most deliveries arrive within 10 to 12 working days, excluding rural addresses, which can take a little longer. Freight is calculated at checkout.

Furniture is big and it does not travel overnight by courier. Outdoor furniture is about slowing down anyway.

Living with it Low maintenance
Use in covered areas and store indoors during wet weather. Hose or clean with a damp cloth and warm soapy water, then hang outside to dry. Blot spills immediately. Vacuum using suction only; do not use a brush head or dry clean.
