How does the teak base handle constant contact with a wet deck?

The Hahei features a solid teak plinth base. A-Grade teak is naturally rich in oils that prevent water ingress and rot. The base is also fitted with small glides that lift the timber slightly off the ground, allowing air to circulate and the deck underneath to dry.

Will the deep 100cm seat feel too long for standard sitting?

The Hahei is a "luxury lounge" section designed for deep comfort. While very spacious, the plush back cushions provide excellent lumbar support. Shorter users may enjoy adding a small scatter cushion to adjust the seat depth to their preference.

Can I wash the Hahei Sunbrella cushions in a washing machine?

Yes. The covers can be unzipped and machine-washed on a cold, delicate cycle. To preserve the water-repellent finish, avoid fabric softeners and air-dry the covers. For spot cleaning, the fabric can be cleaned while still on the foam using mild soap.

Are the modular clips hidden when the chair is used standalone?

Yes. The connection hardware is located underneath the teak base, out of the line of sight. This allows the Hahei Single Seat to function as a premium, fully-finished armchair that looks architectural from every angle.
