We also offer a full-service delivery, including assembly and waste disposal, for an additional cost, available in Auckland only. How long does outdoor furniture delivery take?

While Design Concepts provides local Auckland and nationwide delivery, our time frames depend on your location and the type of furniture you've ordered. For standard orders within metropolitan areas, delivery may take between 1 to 2 weeks and even longer for rural locations. Please communicate any special delivery requirements at the time of ordering. We also recommend checking your access points to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I keep the outdoor furniture outside year-round?

Absolutely. We design our outdoor furniture to withstand year-round outdoor exposure and provide lasting enjoyment. Our rust-free frames ensure structural integrity regardless of weather conditions, while our specially treated materials resist UV damage, fading, mould, and mildew. What eco-friendly materials are used in the Flinders Rug?

The Flinders rug is hand-woven from 100% recycled PET, which is polyester derived from recycled plastic bottles. This creates a tough, sustainable textile that is naturally resistant to moisture, stains, and mildew.

Can the Flinders Rug be left out in the rain?

Absolutely. Because the synthetic fibres are non-absorbent, water does not soak into the rug. It is designed to live outdoors year-round and will dry out quickly after a downpour without the risk of rotting.

What is the best way to clean this outdoor rug?

Regular vacuuming will keep the rug free of dust. For deeper cleaning, you can hose the rug down with water and a mild detergent. Simply hang it over a rail or chairs to air dry before placing it back on your patio.

Is the rug reversible for a different look?

Yes. Most of our flat-weave PET rugs are reversible, often featuring a subtle variation of the pattern on the other side. This allowing you to refresh the look of your outdoor space simply by flipping the rug.
