Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Finn Outdoor Cushion completely waterproof?

The Finn cushion is highly water-repellent, meaning moisture will bead off the surface. However, we recommend storing scatter cushions indoors during heavy rain to keep them in peak condition and prevent moisture being trapped in the seams.

Does the cushion include a mould-resistant insert?

Yes. Every Finn cushion comes complete with a high-quality, outdoor-grade insert. This insert is specifically designed to hold its plush shape while resisting the buildup of mould and mildew in damp environments.

How resistant is the fabric to UV fading?

The cushion is manufactured from solution-dyed acrylic fabric, which is the gold standard for UV resistance. This ensures the vibrant patterns and colours remain sharp even after prolonged exposure to the intense New Zealand sun.

Can the cushion cover be washed in a machine?

The cover features a zip for easy removal. We recommend hand washing with a mild detergent and fresh water. Always air dry the fabric and avoid tumble drying, as high heat can damage the weather-resistant properties of the fibres.
