Does the 182cm height make it prone to tipping in the wind?

The Giant is engineered with a heavy, broad metal base that provides a low centre of gravity. While it is very stable on flat surfaces in standard breezes, we recommend placing it in a sheltered corner or bringing it inside during storm warnings.

Is the 5-metre power cable suitable for permanent outdoor use?

The cable is designed for outdoor durability, but for a permanent installation, we recommend ensuring the plug is connected to an IP-rated outdoor socket. The 5-metre length provides enough flexibility to reach power points without the need for extension cords.

Can the white balance be changed manually without the app?

Yes. You can adjust the light temperature and brightness by rotating the Fatboy label attached to the lamp shade. This manual control allows you to cycle through the settings easily if you do not have your smartphone handy.

Will the white polyethylene shade turn yellow over time?

No. The shade is made from high-grade, UV-stabilised polyethylene. This material is specifically formulated to resist the "yellowing" effect of the sun, ensuring the lamp maintains its crisp white appearance even after years on your patio.
