Assembly requirements vary by product, with only some items requiring minimal assembly. We also offer a full-service delivery, including assembly and waste disposal, for an additional cost, available in Auckland only. How long does outdoor furniture delivery take?

While Design Concepts provides local Auckland and nationwide delivery, our time frames depend on your location and the type of furniture you've ordered. For standard orders within metropolitan areas, delivery may take between 1 to 2 weeks and even longer for rural locations. Please communicate any special delivery requirements at the time of ordering. We also recommend checking your access points to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I keep the outdoor furniture outside year-round?

Absolutely. We design our outdoor furniture to withstand year-round outdoor exposure and provide lasting enjoyment. Our rust-free frames ensure structural integrity regardless of weather conditions, while our specially treated materials resist UV damage, fading, mould, and mildew. Many of our products feature quick-dry foam and a free drainage system, which makes them easy to maintain and prevents moisture buildup. To give you added peace of mind, we offer a 5-year warranty on our fabric.

Will the tray slide off a Sunbrella fabric ottoman in the wind?

The tray is designed with enough weight to provide a secure "bite" into the fabric of your ottoman. The friction between the powder-coated aluminium and the textured Sunbrella weave ensures the tray stays in place, providing a stable platform even in breezy conditions.

Can the white finish be stained by red wine or coffee?

The tray features a non-porous powder coating that is highly resistant to organic stains. Spilled wine or coffee will bead on the surface and can be wiped away with a damp cloth. Unlike timber trays, the liquid cannot soak into the material, preventing permanent marks.

Is the slat design safe for narrow-based glassware?

The gaps between the aluminium slats are precisely spaced to ensure that standard wine glasses and tumblers remain level. The surface provides a much more stable and flat area for drinks than the soft, cushioned surface of an ottoman alone.

Does the tray require a cover if left outside on the ottoman?

The tray itself is 100% weather-proof and rust-free. However, leaving it on an ottoman during rain can trap moisture between the tray and the fabric. We recommend removing the tray or standing it on its side after rain to allow the ottoman fabric to breathe and dry effectively.
