Affinity Smart-Heat On/Off Controller

  • Switch compatible Bromic Platinum and Tungsten gas or electric heaters on or off at full output, without dimming.
  • Choose a 1, 2 or 5 channel controller to suit the number of heating zones in your space.
  • Each channel can control up to 6 kW of electric heating or up to 10 compatible gas heaters, subject to the installation requirements of the connected heaters.
  • Connect through 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to manage heaters using the Bromic Heating App.
  • Use the app to group heaters into zones and set timers or schedules; scheduled shut-off requires a Wi-Fi connection.
  • The 1 and 2 channel models can connect to compatible home or building automation systems with an optional expansion board.
  • The 5 channel, three-phase model includes an expansion board for Ethernet connectivity or 0–10 V automation integration.
  • IP54 rated enclosure. The 1 and 2 channel units measure 290 × 202 × 112 mm; the 5 channel unit measures 500 × 340 × 202 mm.

Does the Affinity On/Off Controller dim heater output?

No. The On/Off Controller switches connected heaters on or off at full power. Choose an Affinity Dimmer Controller if you need to adjust the heat output in smaller increments.

What is the difference between the 1, 2 and 5 channel models?

The models have one, two or five channels for organising connected heaters. Each channel supports up to 6 kW of compatible electric heating or up to 10 compatible gas heaters, subject to the heater and installation requirements.

Can I connect the On/Off Controller to a home or business automation system?

Yes. The 1 and 2 channel models require an optional expansion board for Ethernet or 0–10 V integration. An expansion board is included with the 5 channel, three-phase model.
