Frequently Asked Questions

What is the wind rating of the Miami Umbrella?

The Miami is a robust centrepost umbrella with a high wind rating of up to 70kph. This makes it one of the strongest umbrellas available, specifically designed for breezy or exposed locations.

How does the push-up mechanism work?

It features a simple push-up mechanism with a counterweight assist. There are no ropes or pulleys to tangle or break. You simply push the runner up the pole until it clicks securely into place.

Does the Miami Umbrella have a tilt function?

No. To ensure maximum strength and wind resistance, the Miami features a fixed horizontal canopy. This reduces the number of moving parts, making the umbrella significantly more durable in gusty conditions.

Is a base included with the Miami Umbrella?

Yes. The Miami comes with a heavy 30kg granite base on wheels as standard. This provides the necessary stability for its high wind rating while allowing you to move the shade around your patio easily.
