Assembly requirements vary by product, with only some items requiring minimal assembly. We also offer a full-service delivery, including assembly and waste disposal, for an additional cost, available in Auckland only. This makes it easy for Kiwis to buy outdoor furniture in NZ with confidence and convenience.

How long does outdoor furniture delivery take?

While Design Concepts provides local Auckland and nationwide delivery, our time frames depend on your location and the type of furniture you've ordered. For standard orders within metropolitan areas, delivery may take between 1 to 2 weeks and even longer for rural locations. Please communicate any special delivery requirements at the time of ordering. We also recommend checking your access points to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I keep the outdoor furniture outside year-round?

Absolutely. We design our outdoor furniture to withstand year-round outdoor exposure and provide lasting enjoyment. Our rust-free frames ensure structural integrity regardless of weather conditions, while our specially treated materials resist UV damage, fading, mould, and mildew. Many of our products feature quick-dry foam and a free drainage system, which makes them easy to maintain and prevents moisture buildup. To give you added peace of mind, we offer a 5-year warranty on our fabric.

What products can be used with the Affinity Dimmer control series? The Affinity Dimmer Controls can be used with all Bromic Heating Appliances, including Platinum, Tungsten and Cobalt Electric Heater models. Dimmer controls are not compatible with Gas Heaters. How many outdoor heaters can I control with this controller? Single Channel Controls are rated for 6kW maximum, Dual Channel controls are rated for 12 kW maximum. Both Single and Dual Channel options can control multiple heaters within their maximum capacity. A Single 6 kW Dimmer Control is compatible with 2 Platinum 2300W Electric Heaters. A Dual 12 kW Dimmer Control is compatible with 2 Tungsten 6000W Electric Heaters. Do these controllers have a timer function? The Bromic App includes both timer/scheduling functions.

Can I use this remote to control third-party electric heaters?

No. The Bromic wireless system uses a specific radio frequency and protocol designed to communicate exclusively with Bromic Dimmer Control units. It is not compatible with standard household dimmers or other heater brands.

Is the remote itself waterproof?

The remote is water-resistant for casual outdoor use, but it is not waterproof or submersible. To ensure the longevity of the internal electronics and battery, we recommend storing the remote in a dry, sheltered location or inside the house when not in use.

What happens if I lose the remote?

If the remote is lost, you will not be able to adjust the heat level unless you have a hard-wired bypass switch. Replacement remotes can be purchased and "re-paired" to your existing Bromic controller by following the synchronization steps in the manual.

Can I set "zones" for different heaters on one remote?

Yes. One remote can control up to 7 individual control units within its 30m range. This allows you to group heaters by "Zone" (e.g., Dining Area vs. Lounge Area) and adjust their heat levels independently using the same handset.
