Is the 2.4m aluminium tabletop prone to "bowing" under heavy weight?

No. The Waiheke table is engineered with reinforced internal longitudinal beams beneath the aluminium slats. This structural bracing ensures the 2.4-metre span remains perfectly flat even when loaded with heavy serving platters and cast-iron cookware.

Will the powder-coated surface get too hot for bare arms during lunch?

Aluminium is highly thermally conductive and sheds heat quickly when shaded. While the surface will be warm in direct sun, the powder coating helps moderate the temperature. We recommend using a cantilever umbrella to keep the table surface comfortable during peak summer hours.

Do the table legs have adjustable feet for uneven ground?

Yes. The Waiheke features heavy-duty adjustable glides on the base of each leg. This allows you to level the table perfectly on uneven pavers, stone tiles, or timber decking, ensuring a stable, wobble-free dining experience for up to 8 guests.

How do I remove hard water spots from the Matte finish?

In areas with "hard" water, mineral deposits can leave spots on the matte powder coating. These are easily removed with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Wipe the surface with a soft cloth and rinse with fresh water to restore the clean, architectural look.
